Service Terms

Last updated: 24 August 2026

These terms explain how Iron Works Mobile Welding and Fabrication Pty Ltd (ABN 93 689 124 721) (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Mount Pleasant, South Australia, provides mobile welding and fabrication services across Adelaide, the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, Murraylands and greater South Australia. By booking work with us you agree to these terms, together with anything set out in your written quote or invoice. If your quote says something different to these terms, the quote applies.

Quotes

Quotes are free and carry no obligation. We prepare them from the information you give us — a description of the job, photos, measurements, or an on-site look at the work. A quote covers only the work described in it. If the job turns out to be materially different from what was described or visible when we quoted, we will talk to you about the difference before doing extra work. Quoted prices are confirmed in writing at the time of the quote; if some time has passed since your quote was issued, please check with us that the price still stands before booking, as material costs can change.

Booking, site access & conditions

We are a mobile service — we come to your farm, worksite, home or business. To do the job safely and on time we ask that you:

Welding and cutting are hot work. Where the work is outdoors, weather (rain, high winds, or fire-danger restrictions on days of total fire ban) can force us to pause or reschedule for safety — we will let you know as early as we can. Emergency and after-hours repairs are available subject to Sean’s availability; call to check.

Materials & existing structures

Materials we supply are as described in your quote. Steel and consumable prices move over time, which is why quoted prices are confirmed at the time of quoting. If you supply your own materials, or ask us to repair an existing item or structure, we will work with what is there — but the condition of existing or customer-supplied material is sometimes not fully visible until work begins (for example hidden rust, metal fatigue, or previous repairs). If we find something like that which changes the scope or cost of the job, we will stop and discuss it with you before proceeding.

Changes & variations

If you want to change or add to the job after we have quoted, or the job needs more than what was quoted, we will agree on the extra scope and cost with you before doing the additional work.

Payment

Payment details, amounts and the due date are set out on your quote or invoice. Custom-fabricated kit orders (sheds, carports, pergolas and lean-tos) are confirmed and fabricated once your order and deposit are confirmed — delivery, freight and returns for kits are covered by the Shipping, Freight & Returns policy on the kit page. If anything on an invoice is unclear, contact us before the due date and we will sort it out.

Cancellations & rescheduling

If you need to cancel or move a booking, please tell us as early as you can so we can offer the time to another job. If we ever need to reschedule from our side — weather, breakdown, or an emergency job — we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a new time.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that services will be provided with due care and skill, be fit for the purpose you told us about, and be delivered within a reasonable time. Our goods come with guarantees that they will be of acceptable quality and match their description. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights. If something we have done is not right, contact us and we will fix it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
