A Welder Based In The Hills, Not Just Visiting
The Hills are a patchwork — grazing country and horse properties, orchards and vineyards, small farms, workshops and trades scattered from Birdwood to Woodside. What they share is steel that works hard: gates, yards, implements, trailers, shed frames.
Iron Works is fully mobile, with the welder, generator and tooling on the rig — and because we start the day at Mount Pleasant, the run to a Hills job is usually the shortest one we do.
Sean has welded across agricultural and industrial work since 2014 and has been certified since 2019. And when a job is too big for the paddock, the Mount Pleasant fabrication workshop is right here in the Hills — genuinely local drop-off and pick-up.

From Birdwood To Woodside
Our regular northern-Hills country runs through Birdwood, Mount Torrens, Gumeracha, Lobethal, Woodside and Charleston, and out through Harrogate, Tungkillo and Palmer toward the Murraylands.

Do you do mobile welding near Birdwood, Gumeracha or Lobethal?
Yes — Birdwood, Mount Torrens, Gumeracha, Lobethal, Woodside, Charleston, Harrogate, Tungkillo and Palmer are all short runs from our base. Call Sean on 0455 579 207 and we can usually get to you quickly.
Can I bring a job to your Mount Pleasant workshop?
You can, by arrangement. Smaller jobs — trailers, gates, brackets, machinery parts — can be dropped off, and larger custom builds are fabricated there too. Call first so we are on site when you arrive.
What about the southern Adelaide Hills?
We cover the whole range. Mount Barker and Strathalbyn have their own pages, and everywhere between is fair game — if it is in the Hills, we weld there.
