Sheds Built By A Welder, Not A Catalogue
Sean has been welding since 2014 and runs a fabrication workshop in Mount Pleasant, right between the Barossa, the Adelaide Hills and the Murraylands. That means your shed is designed, fabricated and put up by the same people who weld structural steel and repair farm machinery for a living.
Every shed is made to your size. Tell us what it has to hold (a header, a hay stack, a boat, the ute and a workbench) and we work the size, doors and roof around it. You pick the Colorbond colour and paint finish.
You can have it two ways. We deliver and erect it, with delivery and installation available around Adelaide, the Barossa, Murray Bridge and the Murraylands. Or we ship it to you as a flat-pack kit, anywhere in Australia, with freight quoted before you commit.

Use the 3D Shed Designer or just call Sean. Size, roof style (gable, skillion or flat), roller doors, PA doors and Colorbond colours.

Quote & approval
We quote the shed, delivery and install. Many SA sheds need development approval, so check with your council or PlanSA before you build.

Built or shipped
Fabricated to order (typically 2–6 weeks), then erected on your site or shipped flat-pack anywhere in Australia.

Do you build sheds, or only sell kits?
Both. Iron Works designs, fabricates and erects steel sheds, with delivery and installation available around Adelaide, the Barossa, Murray Bridge and the Murraylands. If you would rather build it yourself, we supply the same shed as a flat-pack kit shipped anywhere in Australia.
What kinds of sheds do you build?
Farm and machinery sheds, hay sheds, shearing sheds, aircraft hangars, garages, home workshops and lean-to extensions. Every one is made to your size, with your choice of Colorbond colour and paint finish.
Do you build shearing sheds and aircraft hangars?
Yes. Iron Works designs, fabricates and erects purpose-built shearing sheds for sheep properties and steel aircraft hangars for private aircraft and farm airstrips, sized to your layout, wingspan and door clearance.
Can I design my shed online?
Yes. The free 3D Shed & Carport Designer lets you set the size, roof, roller doors, PA doors and Colorbond colours, check your vehicle fits, and send the design straight to Sean for a quote.
Do I need council approval for a shed in South Australia?
Often, yes. Many sheds and carports in SA need development approval; some very small sheds are exempt. Rules change and every block is different, so check with your council or on the SA Planning Portal (PlanSA) before you build.
How long does a shed take?
Sheds and kits are fabricated to order. Once the order and deposit are confirmed, fabrication and dispatch typically take 2 to 6 weeks depending on the product and current workload. We confirm the timeframe when you order.
How much does a steel shed cost?
It depends on the size, roof, doors, colour and whether we install it. Quotes are free: design it in 3D, use the Kit Quote page, or call Sean on 0455 579 207. Freight for kits is quoted separately before you commit.
Can you repair or extend my existing shed?
Yes. We are mobile welders, so we repair shed steel on site: damaged frames and purlin brackets, new door openings, extra bays and lean-to extensions.
