Winery & Food-Grade Stainless Steel
TIG-welded stainless steel for Barossa wineries, cellar doors and food producers: tank stands, catwalks, platforms, hoppers, benches and trolleys, fabricated in our Mount Pleasant workshop or repaired on site with clean welds suited to food-grade settings.
Clean Welds For Wine And Food
Stainless work in a winery or food line is different from farm steel. The welds have to be clean and smooth so they can be washed down, the finish has to stand up to cleaning chemicals, and the job usually has to fit around vintage or a production run.
Iron Works TIG welds stainless on site with the mobile rig or fabricates it in our Mount Pleasant workshop, about 15 minutes from Eden Valley and around 35 to 40 minutes from Angaston and Tanunda.
We also do the carbon-steel side of a winery: platforms, walkways, stairs, bin tippers, frames and machinery repairs, so one welder can look after the whole site.

Do you do food-grade stainless welding?
Yes. Iron Works TIG welds stainless steel for wineries, cellar doors and food producers, with clean welds suited to food-grade and wash-down settings, in our Mount Pleasant workshop or on site.
Do you work for Barossa wineries?
Yes. We fabricate and repair tank stands, catwalks, platforms, hoppers, benches and trolleys for wineries across the Barossa and Eden Valley, plus the carbon-steel platforms, stairs and machinery repairs around them.
Can you repair stainless on site during vintage?

Do you weld aluminium as well?
Yes. We weld steel, stainless and aluminium with MIG, TIG and arc processes.
