Broken machinery, a cracked trailer, a sagging gate? Iron Works brings the welder to you and fixes it where it sits, on the farm, the worksite or in your driveway, across the Barossa, the Adelaide Hills, the Murraylands and Adelaide.
Fixed Where It Broke
Most welding repairs are quicker and cheaper when the welder comes to the job. There is no loading a broken header onto a truck, no towing a trailer with a snapped drawbar, and no waiting for a workshop slot. We carry the welder, generator and cutting gear on the rig.
Sean is a qualified welder, welding since 2014 and certified since 2019, with years of agricultural, industrial and structural work behind him. MIG, TIG and arc, steel, aluminium and stainless, plus oxy cutting, air arc gouging and line boring for worn pins and bores.
Bigger repairs and rebuilds can come back to our Mount Pleasant fabrication workshop and go home fixed.

Most repairs are done on the spot. Bigger rebuilds go through the Mount Pleasant workshop.

Welding Repairs: Common Questions
Do you do welding repairs on site?
Yes. Iron Works is a fully mobile welding service. We bring the welder, generator and cutting gear to your farm, worksite or home and repair it where it sits, so nothing needs to be transported to a workshop.
Do you do emergency breakdown repairs?
Yes. We get a lot of emergency call-outs and fit them in as soon as we can: quick quotes and on site as fast as possible. Call Sean directly on 0455 579 207. It is not a 24/7 service; standard hours are Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm.
Can you repair farm machinery and trucks?
Yes. Harvester repairs, tractor modifications, loader and implement repairs, truck tray repairs and line boring for worn pins and bores are all regular work.
Do you repair trailers and horse floats?
Yes. Cracked chassis, drawbars, ramps and floors on box trailers, car floats, horse floats and stock trailers, welded on your property. We also build custom sheep and cattle stock crates.
Can you weld aluminium and stainless steel?
Yes. We weld steel, aluminium and stainless steel with MIG, TIG and arc processes, including alloy trailer and ute tray repairs.
How much does a welding repair cost?
It depends on the damage, the material and the time on site. Send a photo of the damage and we will quote quickly. Quotes are free.
