Built To Your Tray, Not Off A Shelf
Every ute tray, truck body and trailer measures differently, and an off-the-shelf crate that almost fits is a crate that rattles, chafes and works itself loose. We build to your measurements — or come out and take them ourselves — so the crate sits square and stays put.
Construction is welded, not bolted flat-pack: frame, rails and mesh built as one unit, with gates and latches placed where you actually work your stock, not where a catalogue put them.
Crates are fabricated at our Mount Pleasant workshop. Pick yours up when it is done, or we deliver through the mobile service — and existing crates can be repaired, resized or refitted too.

Measure
Send your tray or trailer measurements and what you cart — or we come out and measure the vehicle ourselves.

Fabricate
Welded frame, rails, mesh and gates built at the Mount Pleasant workshop, in steel or aluminium to suit the vehicle.

Fit & go
Pick it up at the workshop, or we deliver it and make sure it sits right on the vehicle it was built for.
One Fabricator, Start To Finish
A stock crate is a working bit of gear, so it is built by the same qualified welder who repairs cattle yards, trailers and farm machinery every week — Sean has been welding since 2014 and certified since 2019.
It comes out of the same Mount Pleasant workshop as our custom metal & steel fabrication — gates, yards, ramps, trailers and structural steel — so the crate matches the rest of your gear in strength, not just in colour.
And because the workshop runs alongside a fully mobile welding service, repairs down the track do not mean bringing the crate back: we come to you.

Stock Crates — Common Questions
Do you build stock crates for utes, trucks and trailers?
Yes — sheep and cattle crates custom-built to your tray or trailer measurements at our Mount Pleasant workshop. If you are local we can come out and measure it ourselves.
Steel or aluminium — which is better for a stock crate?
It depends on the vehicle and the work. Steel is stronger and easier to repair; aluminium saves weight on smaller utes. We weld both in-house, so we will talk it through against your payload and your stock rather than push one answer.
Can you repair or modify an existing crate?
Yes. Cracked rails, broken hinges and latches, rusted sections and resizing jobs are all regular work — either at the workshop or on site with the mobile rig.
